Lamps Sale: Black Friday Lighting Deals

Black Friday lamps: light in layers

One ceiling light is almost never enough. Homes that feel welcoming combine three kinds of light: general light, mood light and light for whatever you are doing. This Black Friday we are putting FurnMod lamps on sale, our own brand, for each of those layers, with a 5-year warranty and shipping from our warehouses in Manresa and La Seu d'Urgell, Spain.

Lamps on sale by the light you need

General light: ceiling and pendant lights

They light the whole room and mark out an area, such as the dining table or the kitchen island.

Mood light: floor lamps

They give a softer light in a corner of the living room or next to the sofa, and need no installation.

Task light: table lamps

For reading on the bedside table, working at the desk or adding a warm point of light to the sideboard.

Wall lights

They leave tables and floor free. They work in hallways, at the entrance and on either side of a mirror.

Three keys to getting the light right

• At least three light sources per room: one ceiling light, one floor lamp and one table lamp, at different heights.
• Colour temperature: warm light, 2,700 to 3,000 K, for the living room; neutral light, around 4,000 K, for working or cooking.
• Pendant height: the bottom of the shade about 70 to 80 cm above the table.
