Delay notice appreciated

In the case of a delay on the delivery of a product (which already had 7 weeks on the list), it would have been even more professional to be notified and not wait for the alarmed customer to call the company for information and avoid creating the suspicion of being scammed.

Furniture (chairs in my case) as ordered, fast and efficient delivery. I put 4 stars and not 5 because the chairs have to be assembled by the customer.

The assembly is poor.
The two retaining loops for the 4 screws deviate in symmetry by 2 !!!
so that the 4 screws can only be inserted and adjusted with strong bending and levering

The manufacturing tolerances here should be in the millimeter range and
never in the centimeter range.
